Job summary

National Wound Physician Group in Charleston, SC seeks a part-time bariatric surgeon to join our mobile bedside wound care team. The role requires a minimum of 3 weekdays and offers flexibility with a potential 4–5 day full-time option, delivering care across facilities with autonomy.

No nights, no call, and no weekend duties are emphasized, with duties including 2–3 facility visits daily and 20–30 patients treated per day using real-time EMR.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.

Responsibilities

• Full time work: Monday - Friday (7am-4pm) or part time available.
• No call / No weekend clinical responsibilities.
• Physicians deliver modern wound management at the bedside in the post-acute care setting.
• Our physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Part‑time role is a minimum of 3 days per week.
• This is a mobile practice: The physicians visit facilities in a 40 – 60 mile radius of practice location.
• Our physicians visit 2-3 facilities per day treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.
• Clinical documentation is at point of care, in real-time during clinical rounds, using our proprietary wound specific EMR.
• Paid Training is provided during onboarding + 6 months wound care fellowship.
• W2 employment contract (No work visa sponsorship is available)
