JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Take accurate food orders from guests and/or ensure buffet is stocked appropriately.

Monitor food distribution, ensuring that meals are delivered to the correct recipients and that food is properly prepared and nicely presented and/or the buffet is appealing.

Assists with bussing tables

Perform various other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum of High School education

Minimum of one (1) year in hotel/restaurant serving role

Food safety certification preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Ability to communicate effectively verbally

Team player

Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members

Ability to multi-task

Ability to work flexible hours and shifts

This position works to ensure operational needs are met and behind the scenes set ups are accurate. Setting buffets and breaks, refreshing water stations, and keeping the back of house tidy and flowing during a busy dinner service are just a few of the tasks you could be assisting with during a work day. A banquet service attendant is an ideal position for someone starting out in the workforce or wanting to start on a banquet career path.
