Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months of customer service experience.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Strong listening, communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve assigned goals and performance expectations.
• Successful completion of New Hire Training course and exam.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional member experience by maintaining a positive, professional attitude and resolving routine questions.
• Accurately process routine member account transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, wires, etc.
• Maintain a balanced cash drawer and follow branch policies, procedures and risk management requirements.
• Use strong communication skills to understand and clarify members’ financial needs and provide useful options.
• Identify and offer products/services or refer members to the appropriate representative to meet needs.
• Work with branch team to achieve personal and branch performance goals.
• Participate in credit union campaigns, contests, and community/business development events.
• Adhere to AML, BSA, OFAC, CTR, and MISP requirements.
