Meijer Inc. is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver friendly, knowledgeable service in our Fresh departments. You will build positive connections with customers and help them find what they need.

You will maintain appealing displays, stock and rotate products, and use store technology to complete tasks while following food safety standards across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.

What You’ll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments.

You’ll:

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates

• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need

• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays

• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards

• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures

• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery

• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
