Cosentino's Price Chopper in Gardner, KS is seeking a part-time Bakery Clerk to support customers by preparing, stocking and packaging bakery items. You will follow Cosentino’s service standards, assist at the counter, and help keep displays attractive and stocked.

Qualifications

• A food handling permit must be obtained within the first 14 days of employment.
• Completion of ongoing training and development as listed on the Cosentino’s Learning Plan.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Know and implement the Cosentino’s Customer Service Standards.
• Courteously and efficiently assist customers by filling orders at the bakery counter.
• Know department products, procedures and policies to answer questions.
• Assist in merchandising products and keep display cases clean and full.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards to produce results.
• Follow rotation procedures to avoid stale product.
• Follow instructions for breaking out next day’s product and address special orders.
• Ensure the bakery is stocked, cleaned and ready for the next shift.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow health regulations.
