Job summary

United Natural Foods, Inc. is seeking a dedicated part-time bakery wrapper at Cub Chanhassen on Market Boulevard to wrap, stock and assist customers in the bakery department.

You will prepare and wrap bakery products, stock and rotate items, assist with merchandising, and respond to customer questions with prompt, courteous service. Shifts vary in length and time, including nights, weekends and holidays; expect to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate bakery equipment (shrink wrap, label machine, bread slicer, etc.)
• Able to walk long distances and stand for long periods.
• Provide prompt, courteous and accurate service to customers.
• Good judgment and ability to work without constant supervision.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing.

Job description

Cub Chanhassen on Market Boulevard is looking for a dedicated individual to fill a part time bakery wrapper position! Bakery wrappers provide wrapping, stocking and customer service support for the department. They are required for meeting the daily sales and to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and wrap bakery product
• Stock, rotate and face bakery product
• Perform clean up of department
• Assist with department merchandising as directed
• Assist with customer questions or requests

Job Requirements

• Equipment operation (shrink wrap, label machine, bread slicer, knives, bakery racks, etc.)
• Able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time.
• On-going customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous and accurate service.
• Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.
• Have the ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing.
• Must be able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be 18 years of age and older.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Walking on uneven ground
• Reaching, bending, turning, repetitive motions
• Extended exposure to varied temperatures and wet surfaces

Compensation

UNFI anticipates paying the above-referenced pay rate (or within the above-referenced pay range) for this position. Actual Pay, where applicable, will depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements.
