Responsibilities

• Become familiar with the 10-step AVID Tutorial process.
• Participate in trainings and meetings.
• Arrive on time and prepared for class.
• Act as a role model and wear appropriate attire.
• Assist students in maintaining AVID organization tools.
• Actively participate in Tutorials and Scholar Groups.
• Participate in AVID field trips and motivational activities when possible.
• Inform teacher of absences or late arrivals.
• Familiarize with routines and expectations of AVID teachers’ classrooms.
• Facilitate AVID Tutorial learning process and implement AVID methodologies.
• Adhere to district policies and procedures.
