Job summary

Greenway Kia West in Orlando, FL is seeking an Experienced Service Technician for a part-time role. The position demands repairing vehicles per repair orders, performing diagnostic tests, and servicing engines, transmissions, and related systems in a large, multi‑bay facility.

Qualifications

• ASE certification or associate degree in auto maintenance and repair preferred.
• Proficient in repair and diagnosis of engines (gas/diesel) and powertrain components.
• Knowledge of shop equipment including wheel/tire equipment, alignment systems, lifts, and diagnostic tools.
• Able to read, interpret, and transcribe data to maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Performs work specified on the repair order efficiently and to dealership standards.
• Test drives vehicles and uses diagnostic tools to test components and systems.
• Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs automotive transmissions and related systems.
• Communicates with Service Advisor about additional needed work and time estimates.
• Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Willing to learn with hands-on training.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
