Job summary

CAPITAL of Indian Trail is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Automotive Dealer Trade Driver for a part-time position. You will transport vehicles between dealership locations and ensure safe, timely deliveries for dealer trades and customer deliveries.

The ideal candidate has a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and a strong commitment to customer service. You will work in a dynamic environment where every day offers a new opportunity to connect with people and support Capital

Qualifications

Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
Experience in vehicle transportation or related field preferred.
Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmissions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Must be able to handle physical demands including lifting/moving vehicles when needed.
Familiarity with local roadways and traffic patterns is a plus.
Punctuality and reliability are crucial for this role.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

Safely transport vehicles between dealership locations following traffic laws.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are in good condition.
Complete paperwork related to vehicle transfers (trade agreements, delivery receipts, etc.).
Report any issues with vehicles to dealership personnel.
Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations for operating commercial vehicles.
Other duties as assigned by the dealership.
