Job summary

TGK Automotive Specialists in Minnesota is seeking a Part-Time General Service Technician to perform non-technical automotive tasks such as oil changes and tire services. You may also drive customers, pick up parts, and keep the shop clean and organized.

This role offers a competitive starting wage and opportunities for advancement. Qualifying applicants should have a valid driver's license and be able to work five days per week, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days per week, including weekends.
• Previous automotive experience preferred, but we will consider energetic and hard-working individuals with a passion for cars.
• Candidates must have a high level of motivation and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services.
• Documents vehicle condition using Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order.
• Maintains cleanliness of the shop, service area, tires, showroom and exterior.
• Transports customers, picks up parts and supplies using the company vehicle.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections where applicable.
• Adheres to Sun Auto’s policies and safety procedures.
