Job summary

The Parts Authority is seeking a part-time Delivery Driver in California to pick up and deliver automotive parts with a focus on accuracy and customer satisfaction. You will work as part of a delivery team, follow dispatcher directions, and maintain a safe driving record while representing the company professionally.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, verifying orders, handling payments, and supporting store operations as needed.

Qualifications

• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and sit for periods.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Load, transport, and deliver items to customers or businesses in a timely, friendly and courteous manner.
• Review orders before and after delivery to ensure accuracy and satisfaction.
• Follow dispatcher directions, adhere to routes and schedules, and use navigation tools as needed.
• Assist with loading/unloading items from vehicles while ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle questions or concerns professionally.
• Adhere to transportation laws and maintain a clean driving record.
• Accept payments, generate reports, and reconcile cash and charges for deliveries.
• When applicable, perform daily vehicle maintenance checks and report issues.
• Support other store/warehouse duties as assigned and promote workplace safety.
