Job summary

Superior Auto Inc. in Angola, IN is seeking an Auto Mechanic (Part-Time) to perform thorough vehicle inspections and repairs on a variety of pre-owned cars. You will work with safety in mind, using manual and diagnostic tools to identify issues and ensure quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in automotive repair.
• Must provide own tools.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state driver's license with no major blemishes within the last 3 years.
• Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow checklists to inspect all vehicle parts and document safety issues.
• Identify mechanical and electrical problems with diagnostic tools.
• Perform basic maintenance and repairs (oil, brakes, tires, sensors).
• Conduct test drives before and after repairs.
• Maintain repair records and inventory of shop supplies.
