Job summary

Fresno City College is seeking an Automotive Collision Repair Technology Instructor to join its part-time faculty pool. The instructor will provide lecture and lab instruction on campus or at off-site locations, evaluate student performance, and coordinate lab activities.

Positions may include evening, weekend, online, or off-campus assignments. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree with related experience or an associate degree with substantial industry background, and must demonstrate

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and two years directly related professional experience; OR
An associate degree and six years directly related professional experience; OR
A valid California Community College Credential; OR
Equivalent education and/or experience (equivalency)

Responsibilities

Lecture and laboratory instruction in automotive collision repair including body reconstruction, frame straightening, welding and painting.
Observe, evaluate, and record student performance.
Coordinate lab instruction by planning and evaluating practical learning experiences.
Teach in various settings and times, including evenings, weekends, online or off-campus.
Fulfill duties as required by Administrative Regulation 7122.
