Job summary

Center for Social Dynamics (CSD) seeks a passionate Behavior Specialist in Los Angeles, CA. You’ll use play-based strategies to foster communication and social skills in children, delivering sessions at homes, centers, or community settings.

Training is provided, and you’ll follow clinician-designed plans to celebrate incremental milestones. Ideal candidates are patient, dependable, and compassionate, able to work well in teams and adapt to a school-based environment with a consistent weekday

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Patient, dependable and compassionate disposition.
• Clear communication and teamwork in a school-based setting.
• Willingness to train and follow plans from clinical leaders.
• Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Use play, games and evidence-based strategies to build communication, social and life skills.
• Bring energy and compassion to sessions at home, centers or in the community.
• Follow personalized plans designed by clinicians and celebrate small wins.
