Westchester Institute For Human Development (WIHD) invites an Audiologist to join the Speech & Hearing Center in Valhalla, NY. This part-time position serves infants through adults across Westchester County, using advanced diagnostic technologies and collaborating with regional healthcare partners.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited institution.
• NY State licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an Audiologist.
• CCC-A from ASHA or equivalent certification.
• Strong knowledge of audiological diagnostic procedures, assessment techniques, and treatment options.
• Proficient in using sophisticated audiological equipment and specialized software for testing and analysis.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex audiological concepts to patients of all ages.
• Empathetic and patient-focused approach to address the emotional and psychological aspects of hearing loss.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide comprehensive audiology services to infants, children, and adults.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic technologies and testing procedures.
• Collaborate with Westchester Medical Center, CI Balancing Center, and APS.
• Possibly supervise graduate students and contribute to clinical education.
