Job summary

Auction.com is seeking an Auction Coordinator I to support live auctions in Cookeville, TN and surrounding areas. This part-time role entails co-hosting auctions, engaging bidders, and ensuring smooth day-of operations.

You will collaborate with on-site staff and community partners while helping participants learn how to participate in auctions. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, tech-savvy, and proficient in MS Office, able to multitask, and comfortable standing outdoors.

Qualifications

• Tech-savvy with basic troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Able to adapt quickly and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Co-hosting and participating in live auctions.
• Interact with bidders and assist to complete auctions.
• Maintain professionalism with customers and staff.
• Produce auction day processes and manage event equipment.
• Lead and train staff on day-of operations.
• Collect customer information using our software.
• Travel up to 2 hours to auction locations; rental car provided if beyond 2 hours.
