Stratford Public Schools seeks a LEAP School Attendance Specialist (Part-Time, .40 FTE) to support attendance initiatives for students in grades 5–12 in the FACE Office. The role includes family outreach, home visits, and linking families with resources to improve attendance and engagement.

The specialist will monitor attendance in PowerSchool and Qualtrics, participate in LEAP and district interventions, and may travel across the district ~75%. 34 weeks status, non-union, grant funded.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree preferred.
• 1–3 years in nonprofit/education/health or social work preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Willing to travel across the district ~75%.

Responsabilités

• LEAP home visits and family engagement to identify attendance barriers.
• Monitor attendance and document in district systems (PowerSchool, Qualtrics).
• Coordinate with BARC and SARB meetings and develop action plans.
• Attend meetings and support attendance interventions as needed.
• Flexible schedule to support student and program needs.
