Job summary

Broward College in sunny South Florida invites applications for a part-time teaching position in the North Academics Biological/Physical Science department. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in Astronomy, Physics or a related field, or a Master’s with 18 graduate credits; a Ph.D.

Minimum education as stated: Master’s degree in Astronomy, Physics or related Physical Science subfield OR Master’s degree with 18 graduate credits in Astronomy, Physics, Space Science or related Physical Science subfield.
Ph.D. degree preferred but not required.

Demonstrate mastery of their discipline and commitment to Broward College's mission.
Employ teaching methods with technology across modalities to facilitate student learning.
Facilitate diverse learners with responsive pedagogical techniques.
Provide regular office hours and timely feedback to students.
