IndeVets in Seattle is hiring part-time associate veterinarians to join a team that supports your life outside of work. Work with vetted partner hospitals across our Seattle network, choosing days and drive radius while a Scheduling Coordinator curates your schedule.

You’ll be part of a system designed to keep you energized and at your best. With a focus on medicine over production, you’ll have clinical autonomy, mentorship, and a community of colleagues committed to great medicine.

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited program or equivalent.
• Active Washington license or ability to obtain one.
• DEA and controlled substances licenses, as applicable.
• 1+ year of clinical experience with small animals.
• Confidence practicing independently and strong client relationships.

As a part‑time IndeVet, you'll work shifts at vetted partner hospitals across our Seattle network. You tell us how you want to work—from your preferred days and drive radius to your clinical interests and hospital preferences—and your dedicated Scheduling Coordinator uses those preferences to curate your schedule.

Through ongoing conversations and feedback, we keep learning what works best for you and refine your shifts over time, with the goal of finding hospitals where you feel welcomed, valued, and able to do your best work.

What we're looking for

Requirements

• DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited program (or equivalent)
• Active Washington license or ability to obtain one
• DEA + controlled substance licenses, as applicable
• 1+ year of clinical experience in a small animal setting
• Confidence practicing independently
• Strong communication and client relationship skills

Nice‑to‑haves

• GP, ER, or urgent care experience
• Internship training
