We are looking for an experienced veterinarian to provide comprehensive care at Green Valley Veterinary Clinic in Yucaipa, California, working part‑time with predictable hours and a home-hospital assignment.

Position Overview

As a part‑time veterinarian you will deliver comprehensive medical and surgical care, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with the hospital team to ensure high standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient exams and develop medical work‑ups.
• Perform diagnostic procedures and surgeries.
• Prescribe medications and follow controlled‑substance protocols.
• Communicate with clients and educate them about animal health.
• Maintain accurate medical records and manage pharmacy duties.
• Cultivate teamwork and support staff efficiency.
• Coordinate with the Hospital Manager on weekly priorities.
• Monitor inpatient cases, attend daily rounds, and uphold standards.
• Participate in practice management training and updates.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications (Required)

• Licensed veterinarian (DVM or VMD) in a U.S. state.
• DEA registration.
• 2‑3+ years of practice experience.
• Strong diagnostic, surgical, and dental skills.
• Team‑oriented, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to compassionate, high‑quality care.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform moderately physically demanding work.
• Physical ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl as needed.
