Part Time Associate Veterinarian - Green Valley Veterinary Clinic
We are looking for an experienced veterinarian to provide comprehensive care at Green Valley Veterinary Clinic in Yucaipa, California, working part‑time with predictable hours and a home-hospital assignment.
Position Overview
As a part‑time veterinarian you will deliver comprehensive medical and surgical care, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with the hospital team to ensure high standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient exams and develop medical work‑ups.
- Perform diagnostic procedures and surgeries.
- Prescribe medications and follow controlled‑substance protocols.
- Communicate with clients and educate them about animal health.
- Maintain accurate medical records and manage pharmacy duties.
- Cultivate teamwork and support staff efficiency.
- Coordinate with the Hospital Manager on weekly priorities.
- Monitor inpatient cases, attend daily rounds, and uphold standards.
- Participate in practice management training and updates.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications (Required)
- Licensed veterinarian (DVM or VMD) in a U.S. state.
- DEA registration.
- 2‑3+ years of practice experience.
- Strong diagnostic, surgical, and dental skills.
- Team‑oriented, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to compassionate, high‑quality care.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform moderately physically demanding work.
- Physical ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl as needed.

- Advanced clinical knowledge in cardiovascular, respiratory, orthopedic, neurological assessments.
- Problem‑solving ability within a veterinary hospital context.

Pay Range
$160,000 – $180,000 USD (for full‑time. Part‑time hours prorated).
