Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited program.
• Active Alabama veterinary license (or ability to obtain).
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.
• Collaborative, positive, and professional approach to patient care.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds independently and assist with larger patients or equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality medical care for companion animals.
• Perform physical exams, diagnostics, surgery, and treatment plans.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and develop appropriate care plans; educate clients on preventive care and treatment options.
• Deliver compassionate guidance through all stages of a pet's life, including end-of-life care.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Practice in accordance with veterinary ethics and medical standards.
