Job summary

PetVet Care Centers in Simi Valley, CA is seeking a compassionate Part-Time Associate Veterinarian to join Park Animal Hospital. The ideal candidate has two to three years of clinical experience and is passionate about high-quality veterinary care with excellent client communication.

You will work with a team of veterinarians, technicians, and staff, collaborating closely with the Hospital Manager and Regional Director.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of clinical veterinary experience preferred.
• Excellent client communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work Fridays and Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups.
• Educate clients and communicate treatment plans.
• Perform diagnostic procedures and surgery as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Prescribe medications following protocols.
• Promote teamwork and efficiency among staff.
• Coordinate with Hospital Manager on priorities.
• Ensure smooth daily operations from intake to discharge.
• Monitor hospital cases and participate in rounds.
• Engage in practice management updates and training.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
