Sagebrush is a multisite church with multiple community locations based in Albuquerque, NM, and thriving online services that are reaching all across the world. Sagebrush offers a casual environment where people can experience contemporary worship and engage with one another through the teaching of the Bible. The mission of Sagebrush is to know Christ and to make Christ known.
The student director/pastor will oversee the health and well-being of the student body at their designated location. Through thought-provoking, spiritually uplifting messages, discipleship, and ongoing Christian education programs, you'll have the opportunity to reach one more student for Christ.
At Sagebrush, you don't need to do this alone if you’ve recently graduated or haven't been in full-time ministry. Through our mentors, we will equip you for a lifetime of ministry. Mark 1:17 "Come, follow me," Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.”
The Sagebrush Mission is to know Christ and to make Christ known. This mission is at the heart of everything we do. We're a team of fully devoted followers of Christ who are driven to reach one more person for Jesus.
During the selection process, Sagebrush Church's practice is to provide preference to those who attend a weekly service and align with the Staff Covenant, Church Values, and Beliefs.
At Sagebrush, we truly care about our staff's wellbeing. Beyond that, we are committed to personal, professional, and spiritual growth. We have excellent training, a tuition assistance program, and a library of resources to promote your development and further the mission: to know Christ and to make Christ known.
Our beliefs and core values are the driving factors for what we do as a church. If you think this role might be for you, check us out online, read our church beliefs, watch a service, and then submit your resume.
Not ready for this step? That's okay; we have an amazing Apprenticeship Program where people can learn more about full-time ministry. Visit www.sagebrush.church/apprenticeship.
Sagebrush Church's employment policy is to provide equal employment opportunity for all qualified employees and applicants without regard to race, ethnicity, sex, age, marital status, veteran status, or national origin. Discrimination based upon any of these factors is inconsistent with our church values and not tolerated. The church does, however, reserve the right to employ persons who have a Christian background and a philosophy of ministry and who, in the opinion of the church, have a work history and lifestyle which is consistent with the Scriptural principles the church embraces.
