Job summary

42 North Dental in Pennsylvania is seeking a part-time Dentist to join our established practice, delivering comprehensive care from initial exam to treatment plan and delivery of care. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The Dentist will welcome a strong flow of new patients and oversee the entire clinical patient experience. Daily rate: $750–$900 USD, with a two-Saturday monthly schedule from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dentistry license.
• Vaccination documentation for Hepatitis B.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
