Job summary

42 North Dental in Belvidere, New Jersey, is seeking a part-time Dentist to lead the clinical patient experience from initial exam and treatment plan to delivery of care, including in-office specialty services like periodontics and endodontics.

The Dentist will welcome a strong flow of new patients each month and collaborate with a network of Doctors for mentorship and ongoing education. Daily rate ranges from $750 to $900 USD.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues in the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain high ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies and best practices.
