Job summary

42 North Dental in the United States is seeking a Dentist to deliver the full clinical patient experience—from initial exam and treatment plan to delivery of care. In-office specialty services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The position offers a Part-Time schedule with two Saturdays per month (7AM–12PM) and a daily rate of $750–$900 USD, along with 401K, continuing education, and mentorship through an extensive network of doctors.

Qualifications

• Dentistry degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Licensed to practice dentistry in the state.
• Vaccination documentation for Hepatitis B.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues in the oral cavity
• Maintain high quality standard of care for all patients
• Maintain high standard of ethics and professionalism
• Stay updated with new developments and best practices through continuing education

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
