Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a Dentist to join our patient‑centered practice. The role covers the full clinical patient experience from initial exam to delivery of care, with in‑office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The position offers part-time hours with two Saturdays per month (7 AM–12 PM) and opportunities for continuing education through the Harvard Rounds Network and in-house CE events.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Active state dental license to practice.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS or CPR certification current and valid.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and discuss treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures in the oral cavity.
• Maintain high quality of care and professional ethics.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
