Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a part-time Dentist to lead the patient care experience from exam to treatment, in a practice offering in-office specialty services. You will contribute to the full clinical patient journey and collaborate with a network of doctors.

The role emphasizes disease prevention, comprehensive treatment planning, and high standards of professional ethics. Competitive daily rate and flexible Saturday coverage are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Active, current state license to practice dentistry.
• HBV vaccination documentation.
• Malpractice insurance coverage.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain high quality standard of care for all patients.
• Uphold high standards of ethics and professionalism.
• Stay current with developments, technologies and best practices.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current BLS/CPR certification
