The Opportunity

The Part-Time Associate is the key to our success!

Stores rely on Part-Time Associates to provide excellent customer service, keep shelves stocked with fresh food, and create a great shopping experience for our customers.

What You'll Do

• Maintain assigned store sections, order, receive, and stock merchandise using proper equipment, ensure correct pricing, check product date codes for proper rotation, and stock shelves, displays, and cases. May prepare perishable products for sale.
• Set up promotional displays and review invoices for accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all store areas and parking lot.
• Operate cash registers, handle payments, and process refunds as authorized.
• Verify customer eligibility when selling alcoholic beverages.
• Assist customers courteously with current store and product information.
• Assist customers with loading purchases into vehicles upon request.
• Perform basic bookkeeping, record damaged or lost goods, and manage store supplies.

What You'll Bring

• Ability to read and write English, interact effectively with the public and co-workers.
• Understand and follow instructions, read labels, tags, and memos.
• Communicate information clearly in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Apply common sense to follow detailed instructions.
• Lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 45 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds occasionally.
