The Opportunity

The Part-Time Associate is essential to our success! Stores rely on Part-Time Associates to deliver excellent customer service, keep shelves stocked with fresh food, and ensure a great shopping experience for our customers.

What You'll Do

• Maintain assigned store sections, order, receive, and stock merchandise using proper equipment, ensure accurate pricing, check product date codes for proper rotation, stock shelves, displays, and refrigerated/frozen cases. Prepare perishable products for sale as needed.
• Set up promotional displays and review invoices/bills for accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards inside and outside the store and parking lot as directed by management.
• Operate a cash register, handle payments, make change, and process check/charge/debit transactions. Handle refunds with management approval.
• Verify customer eligibility when selling alcoholic beverages.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous assistance to customers with current store and product information.
• Assist customers with loading purchases into their vehicles when requested.
• Record lost/damaged goods and store supplies using appropriate tools.

What You'll Bring

• Ability to read and write English, interact effectively with the public and co-workers.
• Ability to understand simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and memos.
• Effective communication skills for one-on-one and small group interactions.
• Apply common sense to follow detailed instructions.
• Regularly lift/move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.
