Job summary

Chedraui USA is hiring a Part-time Associate for the Simi Valley location. The role includes stocking merchandise, operating a cash register, and assisting customers with service and information.

Qualifications

The Opportunity

The Part‑time Associate reports to the Store Manager and performs management‑assigned duties, including but not limited to: receiving inventory, stocking and maintaining a store section, operating a cash register, carrying out service, and maintaining store cleanliness.

Specific Duties

• Maintain a store section, order, receive, and stock merchandise, ensure proper pricing and rotation, and prepare perishable products for sale
• Clean and maintain sanitation standards in all interior, exterior, and parking areas
• Operate a cash register, receive and process payments and refunds, verify eligibility for alcoholic beverage sales
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to customers, including loading purchases into vehicles if requested
• Perform basic bookkeeping, record lost or damaged goods, and manage store supplies
