New Frontier Animal Medical Center in Decatur, Georgia, is seeking a permanent part-time Associate Veterinarian to deliver high-quality medical care while maintaining an excellent work-life balance.

The role is designed for a 3-day work week (roughly 25–30 hours) with no on-call duties. You will treat canine and feline patients, collaborate with a caring team, and communicate clearly with clients about care options, preventive medicine, and follow-up plans.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical examinations
• Diagnose and treat medical conditions in dogs and cats
• Develop appropriate diagnostic and treatment plans
• Perform routine surgical and dental procedures based on experience and comfort level
• Interpret laboratory and diagnostic imaging results
• Prescribe medications and provide preventive healthcare recommendations
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners
• Educate clients regarding preventive care, treatment options, and follow-up care
• Work collaboratively with veterinary technicians, assistants, receptionists, and other veterinarians
• Help maintain high standards of patient care and client service

We are looking for a permanent part-time Associate Veterinarian who wants to practice high-quality medicine while maintaining an excellent work-life balance.

This is not a relief or temporary position. We are looking for a veterinarian who would like to become a long-term member of our practice while working a reduced schedule.

Our Associate Veterinarian will provide general medical care for primarily canine and feline patients. The ideal candidate is personable, dependable, communicates well with clients and staff, and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.

The position is designed around a 3-day work week, typically totaling approximately 25–30 hours per week.

There are no on-call responsibilities.
