About the Position

The Part-time Assistant Track and Field Coach will be responsible for assisting the Head Coach of Track & Field/Field Cross Country with the organization, administration, and coaching of the Men’s and Women’s Track and Field program. Specific duties include the horizontal jumps (LJ/TJ) and assisting our Associate Head Coach with sprints/hurdles. Candidates will be expected to adhere to all rules and regulations at George Mason University, the Atlantic 10 Conference, and the NCAA.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting
• Workout Implementation (practice set-ups, warm ups/cool downs, timing, spreadsheets, etc.)
• Weight room supervision
• Organizing team activities and community service

This is a 10-month (Sept-May) paid, non-benefitted position.

Required Qualifications
