Job summary

StorageMart is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Store Manager in Buffalo Grove, IL to support store operations and customer service. You will assist the Store Manager, engage customers across phone, in person, and email, and help with accounts and light maintenance to keep facilities safe and clean.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. A valid driver’s license and vehicle are required, with mileage reimbursement for travel between stores; outdoors work

Qualifications

• Retail sales and administrative experience is a plus; training provided for the right candidate.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities to address customer needs.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Willingness to work outdoors and maintain the grounds.
• A valid driver’s license, valid insurance, and vehicle; mileage reimbursed for travel between stores.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Operations: Collaborate with the Store Manager to enhance growth and sales.
• Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Engage with customers via phone, in person, and email.
• Maintain Our Facility: Open, operate, close, and perform light maintenance and cleaning.
• Manage Accounts: Handle customer accounts, setup, and general admin tasks including debt management.
• Travel Between Locations: Occasionally support other stores to maintain standards.
