Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 – 2 years prior retail experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to apply retail math principles.
• Excellent computer skills and ability to use a POS system.
• High level of initiative and accountability.
• Proven ability to prioritize multiple initiatives.
• Detail oriented; consistently meets deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales to achieve and exceed financial plan.
• Assist in evaluating the business and improve results.
• Assist in setting and monitoring store goals (individual, daily, weekly).
• Assist in managing store expenses.
• Ensure funds and merchandise are handled per company policy.
• Assist in maintaining final report accountability for store operations and staff.
• Assist with scheduling a grass-root event per quarter.
• Effectively manage merchandise and market externally to build the business.
• Provide exceptional customer service and educate customers on products.
• Zone the store for optimal selling and customer experience.
• Serve as product knowledge expert and model company values.
• Serve as a role model for exceptional customer service.
• Serve as manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Communicate with Store Manager and Assistant Manager on key issues.
• Conduct Take 5 checks to update staff on daily communications.
• Maintain high standards in store operations per the manual.
• Partner with staff to maintain neatness and cleanliness.
• Execute merchandise displays and visuals to enhance the Brand.
• Assist in placing supply orders and monitoring inventory levels.
• Manage time effectively for self and Associates.
