Job summary

Prime Group Holdings, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for Prime Storage Group to drive rental activity and provide exceptional customer service at our Florida locations, including the Bunnell site. This frontline role handles unit rentals, payments, and upsells, while maintaining property standards and delivering a positive customer experience.

You will work closely with the team to manage daily operations, assist in sizing decisions, and ensure a clean, safe facility.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and perform maintenance tasks.
• Valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel and work at multiple locations, including Bunnell, FL.

Responsibilities

• Rent self-storage units, parking spaces and related products.
• Convert inquiries into rentals by phone or walk-ins.
• Maintain accounts receivable and process payments.
• Deliver daily bank deposits accurately and on time.
• Upsell moving supplies and assist in unit sizing decisions.

Position Overview

Join us as a Assistant Manager at Prime Storage Group, where you'll be at the heart of our self-storage facilities! From renting units and trucks to selling merchandise, you'll dive into a dynamic role filled with customer interactions and property maintenance. As our frontline champion, you'll craft exceptional customer relationships and elevate your sales and service like never before!

Responsibilities

• Rent out self-storage units, parking spaces, and other related products
• Convert telephone and walk-in inquiries into rentals
• Maintain accounts receivables through the pursuit of collections, posting of payments, and processing
• Delivery of daily bank deposits accurately and timely
• Upsell moving products and assist in unit sizing decisions
• Greet customers promptly, enthusiastically and professionally
• Understand and sell the features and benefits of the property at all opportunities
• Resolve customer issues in a timely and effective manner
• Consistently deliver exceptional customer service and actively contribute to achieving positive customer reviews and feedback, in alignment with company customer-experience standards and performance expectations
• Ensure that company standards of cleanliness and appearance are met
• Inspect the property, including performing lock checks
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of relevant work experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both in person and over the phone
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Must be technically savvy with the ability to learn new applications and Point of Sale systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft products such as Outlook is required
• Must be physically able to perform routine maintenance duties daily such as walking the property to assess areas of need, maintaining cleanliness of bathrooms, office and hallways, weeding, operating power tools, changing light bulbs and other maintenance related duties
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Possession of a valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation
• Availability for travel and flexibility to work at various locations
