The Police Athletic League (PAL) of New York City seeks an Assistant Director to elevate out-of-school programming inside NYC public schools and PAL Centers, serving youth from elementary through high school in SEL, STEM, literacy, sports, arts, mental health, and college-career access.

The Police Athletic League (PAL) of New York City is an independent youth development non‑profit organization that has served as a vital bridge between police and communities across all five boroughs since 1914. PAL runs programs for children as young as 2 to young adults, including Head Start, after‑school programs, summer day camps, evening teen centers, college readiness, youth employment, and juvenile justice initiatives. A cornerstone of PAL’s strategy is competitive and recreational sports for all ages.
In its 110th year, PAL is reimagining its leadership structure to remain flexible, strategic, responsive, and efficient. The Assistant Director will elevate our out‑of‑school programming embedded within New York City public schools or PAL Centers, serving elementary through high‑school youth in SEL, STEM, literacy, sports, arts, mental health, and college‑career access programming. This position reports directly to the Program Director.
$26.37 – $27.47 per hour, commensurate with experience and credentials.
