Qualifications

• Currently holds an Arizona Teaching or Substitute Teaching Certificate with Fundamentals of Coaching Certification.
• Alternatively, holds an Arizona Coaching Certificate.
• NFHS Level 1 Certification: Fundamentals of Coaching, First Aid, CPR, and sport-specific course.
• Certifications must be on file with school administration.
• Arizona Fingerprint card and immunization records required.

Responsibilities

• Assist head coach in organizing and developing the basketball program within district guidelines.
• Promote high standards of conduct and scholastic achievement among athletes.
• Administer practices and games and monitor athletes in locker rooms.
• Maintain program records (schedules, discipline rules, cuts, awards).
• Ensure proper care and security of equipment and facilities.
• Maintain team discipline and foster diverse, respectful relationships with students and staff.
