Job summary

A leading art supply company is seeking an acrylic, drawing, and/or watercolor instructor to teach classes at the Michaels store in Owings Mills. This part-time, permanent position offers a great opportunity for artists without studio space. Instructors will teach realistic art and must market their classes. Compensation includes an hourly rate plus bonuses per student based on attendance. Certification through Grumbacher is required before applying for the position.

Qualifications

• Instructors must be able to teach acrylic painting, watercolor, and/or drawing classes.
• Willingness to market classes and establish a student base.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes at the Michaels store.
• Schedule and conduct two-hour classes.
• Aim for students to leave with a finished painting or drawing.
