Job summary

A leading art supply company is seeking a part-time Acrylic Painting, Watercolor, and/or Drawing Instructor to teach art classes at the Michaels store in Covington. This role is ideal for an artist who wants to share their skills without needing a personal studio. Instructors are expected to market their classes and ensure students leave with completed artwork. Compensation is hourly, with additional pay per student based on attendance. Certification required via Grumbacher.

Qualifications

• Must have the ability to paint and/or draw realistically.
• Able to teach acrylic painting, watercolor, and/or drawing.
• Willing to market classes and build a student base.

Responsibilities

• Teach art classes at the Michaels store in Covington.
• Prepare and schedule classes monthly.
• Ensure students complete a finished painting or drawing.
