Securitas USA is seeking a Part-Time Armed Security Officer in Wichita, KS. The role includes monitoring premises, patrolling sites, enforcing rules, and assisting employees and customers while maintaining security and professional demeanor.

Qualified candidates have experience in security or related fields; pre-employment screening is required. Weekend shifts are available with comprehensive benefits and training provided.

Qualifications

• Above average computer / technology skills required.
• Must be able to work independently and stay vigilant.
• Must pass pre-employment screening including drug test and background check.

Part-Time Armed Security Officer

Primary Location: Wichita, KS

Wage: $17.50/HR

Weekend Shift

Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Armed Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Armed Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers and serve as a physical deterrent.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Previous armed experience and / or certification preferred.
