Job summary

The University of Miami seeks an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to deliver medical care in a part-time, staff role. You will examine and treat patients, independently and with collaboration, within a multidisciplinary health team in South Florida.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Valid State of Florida APRN license is required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment in critical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Provides illness care, injury care, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment and recovery.
• May prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests.
• Documents complete physical examinations and health histories.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team and makes referrals as needed.
• Supports patient transitions between care settings and provides education.
