Job summary

Valet Living is hiring part-time Apartment Grounds & Sanitation Porters (Field Services Technicians) to help keep apartment communities clean, safe, and running smoothly. You’ll work independently, stay active, and see daily results of your effort with a consistent daytime schedule close to home.

You must own a qualifying vehicle (open-bed pickup or tow-capable vehicle with trailer), have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance, be 18+, and be able to use a work smartphone.

Qualifications

• Must own an open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle that can tow a trailer.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance for the vehicle used.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Smartphone with data plan to use the work app.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to work independently and follow a consistent routine.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, walk long distances, and climb stairs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain dumpster areas, trash enclosures, and common spaces.
• Compact and organize trash using company-provided equipment.
• Handle recycling and compost materials according to procedures.
• Remove debris, sweep areas, and complete general porter services.
• Remove pet waste from designated areas using provided supplies.
• Empty common-area trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.
• Use our mobile app to track work, complete tasks, and confirm service.
• Stay active by walking properties, climbing stairs, and working outdoors.

What You’ll Do

Qualifications

• You must personally own either (1) an open‑bed pickup truck or (2) a vehicle paired with an open utility trailer used for the job; vehicles without an open bed or trailer (including SUVs, sedans, and vans) do not qualify.
• Valid driver’s license
• Auto insurance for the vehicle being used
• Must be 18 years or older
• Smartphone with a data plan to use our work app
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (proof required)
• Ability to work independently and follow a consistent routine
• Physical Requirements: Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Walk long distances and climb multiple flights of stairs. Operate a manual tamper to compact trash safely. Work around trash, recycling, and waste. Work outdoors in various weather conditions
