Job summary

Monmouth University in West Long Branch, NJ invites applications for an Adjunct Professor in Anatomy & Physiology in the Biology Department. This in-person role teaches 3-6 credits per semester with schedules set by the department.

Candidates must hold a master's degree or higher in biology or related field, bring strong communication and organizational skills, and have university teaching experience preferred. Courses are taught on campus with opportunities to engage diverse students.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Biology or a related discipline.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Teaching experience at the university/college level preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach 3-6 credits per semester.
• Develop and deliver lectures, discussions and assignments in line with the curriculum.
• Provide time to meet with students outside of class.
• Develop and administer projects and exams to evaluate learning outcomes and provide grades promptly.
