Job summary

HSHS Medical Group in Illinois is seeking an Ambulatory Registered Nurse for the Surgery - Ambulatory Surgery Center. This part-time (20 hrs/week, day shift) role supports outpatient nursing care at the St Elizabeth's Hospital – Ambulatory Surgery Center in O'Fallon, IL.

The successful candidate will be licensed RN with BLS, a nursing degree (bachelor's preferred), and healthcare experience is preferred. The role emphasizes patient care, coordination with physicians, and utilization of standard

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program and eligible for licensure in the state of practice.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to assigned patients in an outpatient setting.
• Record patient histories and perform various diagnostic tests.
• Administer medications and develop patient care plans with other medical professionals.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures and operate/monitor medical equipment.
