Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking an Ambulatory/Outpatient Registered Nurse for part-time coverage. This role involves patient check-in, rooming, phlebotomy, POC testing, and coordination of care in a fast-paced setting within the Gastonia area.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of clinical nursing experience, an active RN license, and BSN is preferred. Expect variable schedules, with Mon-Fri 7:30–4:30 and clinic hours ranging from 7:00–6:00 depending on location.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where RN provides services.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and updates care plans as needed.
• Maintain safety culture and ensure ethical practice.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocols.
