Job summary

The Pines at Placerville Healthcare Center in Placerville, CA is seeking a Part-Time AM Shift LVN to join our resident-centered care team. You will provide direct nursing care, supervise CNAs, administer medications, and support admissions and discharges with professionalism.

We offer a supportive, team-oriented environment with AM shifts 6:30am–3:00pm and competitive pay of $40-$44/hr DOE, plus opportunities to grow clinically while serving our seniors.

Qualifications

• Active California LVN license in good standing.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused approach to care.
• Passion for serving seniors and supporting quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents with professionalism and compassion.
• Supervise CNAs to ensure quality care during AM shifts.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
• Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to the inter-disciplinary team.
• Complete required charting and maintain accurate documentation.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed.
• Respond to resident needs and emergencies.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized care environment.
• Promote resident dignity, comfort, safety, and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, therapists, and support staff.

This role is ideal for an LVN who enjoys working early hours while making a meaningful impact in the lives of our residents through quality nursing care, teamwork, and compassion.

What You'll Be Doing

• Provide exceptional direct nursing care to residents with professionalism and compassion
• Support and supervise CNAs to ensure quality resident care during AM shifts
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Monitor resident conditions and promptly communicate changes to the interdisciplinary team

Schedule

• Part-Time Position
• AM/Morning Shifts from 6:30am to 3:00pm
• Weekend and holiday availability preferred
• Flexible scheduling available
