Penn State University, Harrisburg, School of Business Administration, invites applications for a part-time lecturer to teach AI 100: Artificial Intelligence: Automated Thinking to Augment Human Intellect during the Spring 2027 Semester and beyond. The openings are for one semester, non-tenure-track, with possible reappointment.

The course covers AI fundamentals, ethics, and societal implications; the instructor should engage undergraduates and explain opportunities and challenges of AI in clear

Qualificações

• Master's degree in information systems, information technology, computer science, data analytics, artificial intelligence, or closely related field.
• Prior college-level teaching experience.
• Familiarity with AI concepts, including ML, NLP, CV, generative AI, and social/ethical implications.
• Familiarity with applying AI in business, healthcare, education, government, and other domains.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver engaging lectures based on the established curriculum and syllabus.
• Prepare class materials, assignments, and assessments.
• Facilitate discussions on opportunities, limitations, and societal impacts of AI.
• Hold regular office hours to support students.
• Use Canvas to manage course content and communication.
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
