Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of NE Florida is seeking a Certified Teacher for Jordan Park in Atlantic Beach, FL to support academic achievement and graduation goals. This part-time role involves tutoring, homework help, and reading enrichment for youth aged 6 to 18, with afternoon hours and a focus on safe, engaging activities.

You will plan and deliver tutoring, monitor progress, and collaborate with volunteers and staff to provide a positive, inclusive program that builds character and supports

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with valid Florida teaching certification or national accreditation.
• Ability to pass background screening and drug test.
• Experience in youth development and program planning is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and implement tutoring programs, homework assistance, and reading enrichment for youth ages 6 to 18.
• Provide individual tutoring and support for members and volunteers.
• Design and facilitate activities around homework to increase interest and learning.
• Ensure safety, positive environment, and gender-appropriate programs at all times.
• Prepare weekly reports and manage program schedules.
