Acquire4Hire LLC is seeking a passionate Lead and Assistant afternoon teacher for a part-time, in-person role at our Henrico County preschool. The role involves partnering with lead teachers to create a safe, engaging environment where children explore, learn, and grow.

You will support play-based activities, manage transitions, and communicate warmly with families. Requires a degree in early childhood education and a minimum of three years of preschool experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in early childhood education.
• Minimum three years of experience working with preschool-age children.
• Familiarity with child-centered educational philosophies (Reggio Emilia, Montessori, Piaget).
• Genuine empathy and respect for children, families, and colleagues.
• Energy, enthusiasm, and a deep love of young learners.
• Reliability to commute to Henrico, VA 23229.

Responsabilités

• Partner with lead teachers to create a safe, stimulating environment.
• Support planning, sequencing, and execution of process-based activities.
• Assist with day-to-day classroom operations and transitions.
• Engage with children to support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
• Communicate warmly with children, families, and colleagues.
• Collaborate on lesson planning and shared materials.
• Attend monthly staff meetings and complete annual continuing education requirements.
